Dr. Bertram J. Hughes started the practice of dentistry in 1990. He is a graduate of the University of Florida College of Dentistry, and has vast training and experience in many areas of dentistry, including dental research. Dr. Hughes has a great deal of skill in artistically placing all-ceramic crowns and bridges, porcelain veneers, implants and removable prostheses to give you that smile you've always wanted. In addition, Dr. Hughes has extensive training in tooth whitening, to help provide you with the whitest, brightest smile possible. Thus, his practice centers on you and your family's preventive and restorative care, as well as your cosmetic needs. Dr Hughes is a long-time member of both the American Dental Association and National Dental Association. He has served as an ADA spokesperson, delegate and committee chair for continuing education for the National Dental Association and President of the Dental Section of the Florida Medical, Dental and Pharmaceutical Association. He is also a member of and past chairperson for children's dental health for the Alachua County Dental Association. Dr. Hughes is dedicated to keeping up with the continuous advances in dentistry. Each year he completes numerous hours of continuing education in dentistry in order to provide you with the "latest and most up to date" dental care.
